How to remove and refit the harmonic balancer in the Six-cylinder petrol engine on 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190E?

In order to access the crankshaft pulley/vibration damper, one has to remove the battery, the engine undershield, radiator, and the cooling fan. Un-screw and re-attach the pulley/vibration damper, with a torque wrench. Squeeze a holding tool, loosen the hub and reassemble the parts, taking care of correct alignment and torque requirements.
